Terms of Service

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms cover using PushMeAhead — the resume builder and the auto apply service that finds internships and sends applications on your behalf. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What PushMeAhead does

PushMeAhead builds a resume from the details you provide, matches you against internship postings, writes an outreach pitch, and sends it — either through our own mailbox with your address in Reply-To, or, if you connect your Gmail account, directly from your own address — up to a daily cap you set. Every application is sent under your name and on your instruction; PushMeAhead drafts and delivers, you are the one applying.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep it up to date — it is what every application is written from.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login and any connected mailbox secure, and for anything sent from your account.
  • One account per person. Institution-provisioned accounts are bound by these terms in addition to any agreement between PushMeAhead and the institution.
  • You must be old enough, under the law that applies to you, to agree to these terms and to apply for internships.

3. Your content, and your resume

You own what you put into PushMeAhead — your profile, resume content, and preferences. You grant us the license we need to use it for the purpose you gave it to us: generating your resume, matching you to internships, and writing and sending outreach on your behalf. You are responsible for making sure what you tell us about yourself is honest and accurate; we write the pitch, but the claims in it are yours.

4. Connecting your mailbox

Connecting Gmail is optional and covered in detail in our Privacy Policy. In short: it lets applications go out from your own address and lets us tell you when a recruiter replies. You can disconnect it at any time, and doing so does not affect applications already sent. You are responsible for the content sent from your address in the same way you would be if you had written and sent it yourself, and for complying with Google's own terms for your account.

5. Acceptable use

Auto apply is for sending genuine internship applications on your own behalf, within the daily cap you set. You agree not to:

  • Use the service to send spam, or content unrelated to applying for the roles you configured.
  • Impersonate anyone else, or apply on someone else's behalf without authorisation.
  • Attempt to circumvent daily sending caps, rate limits, or other controls built into the product.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the service.
  • Use the service in a way that harasses recruiters or violates a job board's or employer's own terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Institutions

A college or placement cell may purchase access for its students and manage a roster from an admin dashboard. The institution is responsible for the accuracy of the roster it uploads and for its own students' compliance with these terms; PushMeAhead is not a party to the relationship between an institution and its students beyond providing the service itself.

7. Fees and payment

Paid plans are one-time purchases that grant access for a fixed period, shown at checkout. Access does not renew automatically — you will need to purchase again to continue after it lapses. Payments are processed by Razorpay; prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

Refunds are handled case by case — contact us within 7 days of a purchase if something went wrong. We do not refund the portion of a period already used once outreach has started sending under that plan.

8. No guaranteed outcomes

Internship listings are sourced from public postings and third parties, and may be incomplete, outdated, or removed without notice. We do not guarantee that any recruiter will read, reply to, or act on an application, or that using PushMeAhead will result in an interview or an offer. Whether and how a recruiter responds is entirely outside our control.

9. Termination

You may stop using PushMeAhead and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, is used fraudulently, or is inactive for an extended period, with notice where reasonably possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply.

10. Service provided as is

PushMeAhead is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of the occasional bad match or mis-sent detail — we work to keep it reliable, but do not guarantee it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PushMeAhead is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a missed opportunity, a reply that was not sent or not seen in time, or the content of an outreach email once it has been sent under your instruction. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PushMeAhead after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
